Moderating a WARDOGS server: reports, warnings, kicks and bans
A simple moderation playbook for WARDOGS community servers: rules, roles, warnings before kicks, evidence for bans, notes and appeals.

Write short rules
Three to five rules players can read in ten seconds work better than a wall of text. Put them in your server description, your Discord and your welcome message.
Give your team roles
Don't share the RCON password. In WARPANEL, invite moderators (message, warn, kick), admins (bans, map control, schedules) and viewers. Every action is logged with who did it.
Warn, then kick, then ban
- Warn with a private message and save a note on the player — the next moderator sees it.
- Kick if the behaviour continues. A kick is a reset, not a punishment.
- Ban for cheating, hate or repeated problems — always with a reason and evidence (a clip, a screenshot, a kill-feed pattern).
Use reports
Players can report someone from your server page; reports land in WARPANEL's moderation queue with the player's history, and optionally in your Discord. Close every report, even if the answer is "no action" — players notice.
Shared ban list (opt-in)
WARPANEL servers can opt in to a shared list of cheaters. Bans submitted with evidence are reviewed by WARDOGS Tracker admins before they're listed, players can appeal, and listed players only trigger an alert when they join — WARPANEL never bans automatically. You decide.
Handle appeals calmly
Mistakes happen. Have one place for appeals (a Discord channel or the WARPANEL appeal page for shared bans), reply within a few days and lift bans you can't back up with evidence.
