How to add a kill feed to your WARDOGS server

Send every kill from your community server to WARDOGS Tracker: per-player stats on your server page, weapon and map breakdowns, top fraggers and match history.

What the kill feed does

WARDOGS dedicated servers can push kill events to an HTTP endpoint. With the kill feed on, your server page gets its own leaderboard, weapons, maps, longest kills and match history, and WARPANEL gets per-player history for notes, regulars and win-back.

The game batches events — up to ten kills per request, roughly every two seconds while there's fighting — so it's light on your server.

1. Get your token

Claim your server on WARDOGS Tracker, then open WARPANEL → Settings → Kill feed and press Create token. Copy the snippet it shows; the token is only shown once.

2. Paste it into ServerSettings.ini

Add the section to ServerSettings.ini (keep your token, not this placeholder) and restart the server — the keys are read at startup.

3. Check it's live

Play a round with at least one kill. WARPANEL's Settings shows the feed as Live within a minute of the first event, and the server page fills in.

Nothing arriving? Make sure there are no spaces around =, the section name is exactly [WDServerFeed], and the server restarted. If you regenerate the token, update the ini and restart again.

RCON or kill feed — do I need both?

They answer different questions. RCON is the live view and the remote control: who's on right now, their ping, and actions like kick or map change. The kill feed is history: every kill with weapon, distance and match, which RCON doesn't record.

Use both for the full picture. RCON alone gives you live moderation and automation; the kill feed alone gives you stats and leaderboards.
