Get your server page on Google
How published server pages get indexed, how to write a good title and description, and how to add your own domain to Google Search Console.

How Google finds your page
A published page is indexed automatically: it has one address per page (old links — join codes, instance ids — redirect to it), every page carries a canonical tag, and warpanel.gg's sitemap lists every published page and its sub-pages.
With a verified custom domain, that domain becomes the page's address. It gets its own robots.txt and sitemap.xml, and the warpanel.gg copy points Google to it, so you never compete with yourself.
Unpublished pages are kept out of search on purpose.
Write a good title and description
In the Page builder, each page (the home and every sub-page) has SEO fields: a title of about 50–60 characters and a description of about 120–160. The title is what shows in the search result; the description is the text under it.
Say what players search for: the game, the server's name, region, mode and what's special — “Dog House EU — 100-slot WARDOGS KOTH server, no spawn camping, events every Sunday”. Leave the fields empty and WARPANEL writes a plain one from the server's name.
Add your domain to Google Search Console (custom domains)
Search Console is Google's free tool that shows what Google sees. Add your domain once:
- Open search.google.com/search-console and add a property of the type “Domain” (not URL prefix) with your domain, e.g. myclan.com.
- Copy the TXT record Google shows and add it at your registrar (where you bought the domain). Search Console tells you the exact record name and value.
- Press Verify. DNS can take a few minutes, sometimes up to a day — come back and press Verify again if it fails the first time.
- Under Sitemaps, submit https://<your domain>/sitemap.xml.
- Use URL Inspection on your home page and press Request indexing — Google usually visits within a day or two.
No custom domain?
Your page lives at warpanel.gg/serverpage/<your URL> and is already in warpanel.gg's sitemap. There is nothing to set up. If you want, inspect the address in Search Console (any Google account can) and request indexing — it's optional.
Help it rank
Link to the page from the places players already are: the server's Discord, its Steam group, and the in-game MOTD or a scheduled message. Links are what tell Google a page matters.
Keep it published and keep the address and domain stable — every move costs weeks of ranking. Give each sub-page its own text (rules, events, how to join) instead of repeating the home page.
Bing and the rest
Bing Webmaster Tools can import your verified sites straight from Google Search Console (Import → Google Search Console), which also covers DuckDuckGo and Yahoo.
