What's new
Every WARPANEL update, newest first. Updates from the last 24 hours are marked NEW.
- New
Kennel is now WARPANEL
- NewDiscord: players get /stats and /top in your Discord — their own numbers on your server (kills, K/D, headshots, longest kill, time played, matches, seeding, profit and rank) or anyone’s by in-game name or @member, and the top 10 by any stat. Players link Discord to Steam once on wardogstracker.gg and it works in every Discord; without a link they search by name.
- NewDiscord → Map vote: after every match the server hears your message in game (“MAP VOTING IS OPEN ON DISCORD! CLOSING IN 3 MINUTES”) and the WARDOGS bot posts a vote in your Discord — a few maps from your pool and, if you like, the weather. Players click a reaction; when time is up WARPANEL counts one vote per person and switches to the winner. Only the map and weather change. Includes a test vote button.
- NewPage → Built-in pages: switch on ready-made pages for your public server page, each its own page in your theme and linked in the header and footer — Players & stats (your full leaderboard: pick the columns, periods and default sort, with player search and totals), Support (your tiers and monthly goal; signed-in players see their own support and next payment) and Report a player (the report form, same rules as your report link).
- Improvedwarpanel.gg’s header has a “Supporting” link when you’re signed in — the servers you back, your tier, next payment and perks.
- NewLeaderboards: Seeding — time a player spent on your server while it was below the players a match needs to start (you set the number on Players → Leaderboard) — and Profit — in-game cash they gained on your server. Both count once a minute from RCON and work in Players → Leaderboard, Home leaderboard blocks and Discord leaderboards.
- NewSettings → Banned weapons (experimental): pick weapons from what your kill feed has logged; when someone gets a kill with one, WARPANEL sends them a message, puts them on the watchlist, warns, kicks or bans them — and can tell your admins on Discord. Your team is never touched; older kills never count.
- ImprovedEverything WARPANEL posts to Discord now goes through the WARDOGS bot — Discord leaderboards (each board picks a channel from a list, picture boards too), the server info message, the Monday report, daily highlights, alerts and the seeding ping. No more webhooks to copy. Pick the channels once on Discord → Tracker bot (new: Leaderboards and Server info message channels). Every page that posts to Discord says so when the bot isn’t in your Discord yet.
- NewWARPANEL now runs on the WARDOGS bot: every 10 seconds it sends what’s due — event countdowns and results, scheduled messages, Discord leaderboards, daily highlights, the Monday report — and once a minute it checks your rules and refreshes the live server info message, staff alerts and the supporter wall.
- NewPremium: Customize the WARDOGS bot (Discord → Tracker bot) — its own nickname, picture, banner and “About me” in your Discord (other Discords keep the normal bot), your colour on every post and your own footer line, with a live preview of a post and the bot’s profile. On Free you can try it, saving needs Premium; if Premium ends, the bot goes back to normal in your Discord by itself.
- ImprovedSettings → Customization: every background is shown on Free too, with a Premium lock (click one to preview it), and a Strength slider makes the pattern fainter or bolder. The Ember background was removed — servers that had it are back to Plain.
- NewHome, rebuilt: blocks size themselves to their content (no more cut-off panels or inner scrollbars), you drag by the handle and a placeholder shows where the block lands while the others slide aside, and width is a click (¼ ⅓ ½ ⅔ full) or the right edge. Blocks have settings: number tiles pick any stat and period, leaderboard blocks their sort, period and size, chart blocks their chart; plus Notes and Links blocks for the team. A block library with thumbnails and four presets (Owner, Moderator, Streamer, Minimal); save a layout for the whole team or just for you; undo/redo, arrow keys to nudge.
- FixedKill feed weapons show their proper item names everywhere (Live, scoreboard, player pages, records, Discord boards and highlights, your server page) — the name set in Admin → Kill feed weapons, else the automatic match — instead of the game’s internal ones like SMG_03. Suicides no longer show “Default” as a weapon; a row with no weapon shows only the distance and headshot, or nothing.
- ImprovedHome is a real grid now: drag any block — the number tiles too — anywhere on a 24-column grid; it snaps to the cells and pushes the others out of the way. Pull the right edge for the width, the bottom edge for the height. New block: Latest supporters.
- NewSettings → Customization (Premium): a background for your whole WARPANEL — dots, grid, topo, hatch or aurora — in the theme’s colours, for the whole team.
- NewSupporters → Settings: announce new supporters in Discord and keep a supporter wall message the bot edits as the list changes (Discord → Tracker bot, Supporters channel). Leaderboards on your server page mark supporters with a ★ when a tier gives the badge perk, and the Supporters page tells you how to put your tiers on the page.
- ImprovedWarn or kick someone who just left? WARPANEL tells you they’re not on the server and whispers your message to them the next time they join.
- ImprovedLive → Streaks shows everyone’s best streak in this match; the longest streaks of the day, week or month are a Streak column on Players → Leaderboard.
- ImprovedPage builder: the Clans block can show your own clan — tag, level, members, kills on your server and a Join button to its wardogstracker.gg page. Gallery grids have a picture size and “click opens the picture full size”.
- FixedPlayer counts stop at 100 everywhere (filling-up alert, seeding target, scheduled messages’ stop-at) — WARDOGS servers hold 100 at most.
- NewDiscord → Tracker bot: add the WARDOGS Tracker bot to your Discord with one click and pick a channel for alerts, events and daily highlights — no webhooks to copy. Posts fall back to the webhook when the bot isn’t set up.
- ImprovedEvents have no set length any more — an event is one match. It ends when the match ends (or when you press End now), and the winners are posted then. Pick the time of day & weather for the start from picture tiles; the announcement in Discord shows the map picture.
- ImprovedPublic page: pages are as wide as the site (1536 px). The Classic template got a new look — a map hero, live kill feed, players chart, top clans, the leaderboard, your team, events and rules — and there are three new templates: Clan, Stream and Tournament. New sub-page templates: Rules, Events and Media. Pages can be reordered in the builder (▲ ▼ in Pages).
- ImprovedRules: the choices read “Anyone on the server / New players (first visit) / Regulars (seen on 5+ days)” and “Send them a private warning / Send them a private well-done message”.
- NewYour server page is served by warpanel.gg itself — warpanel.gg/serverpage/<your URL>, or your own domain. Every page has one address (old links with a join code or instance id redirect to it), a canonical tag for Google, and warpanel.gg’s sitemap lists every published page. A custom domain gets its own robots.txt and sitemap.xml. New guide: Get your server page on Google.
- NewLive → Streaks: who is on a kill streak right now, and the longest streaks of the last day, week or month. Live keeps the match buttons in its title bar; its tabs are Players, Scoreboard and Streaks.
- NewDiscord → Leaderboards shows a live preview of the message as you change a board’s settings — the way Discord will show it, from your real numbers.
- NewModeration → Report link: a link (and QR code) players use to report someone from your server — put it in Discord, the MOTD or a scheduled message. You choose whether reporters must sign in through Steam, anyone may report, or the link is off. Reports land in Moderation with the player’s recent kills.
- NewDiscord → Alerts: Daily kill-feed highlights — once a day, most kills, the longest shot, most headshots and the top weapon from your kill feed.
- NewHome: drag tiles and panels where you want them (they snap into the grid), pull a panel’s edge to make it a third, half, two thirds or full width, hide and add blocks (Premium).
- NewPremium is taking shape: 25 team members, always boosted on the server list, your server’s name in colour on the list (Page → Name colour), your own domain for the server page, picture leaderboards, Home you arrange. Billing lists everything; sales open soon.
- ImprovedRules speak plainer: “anyone on the server”, “a regular (seen on several days)”, “send them a private warning / well-done message”.
- ImprovedShared ban list shows how many servers use it and how many players are on it.
- FixedTeam: ticking a permission no longer shifts the table. Players → Leaderboard: picking a custom period no longer moves the filters. The dashboard no longer opens inside the site’s frame the first time you come from the server list. warpanel.gg’s header shows Sign in through Steam, or your name and Panel → once signed in.
- NewTeam → Roles & permissions: tick what each role may do — moderate players, ban and run the match, change how the server runs, manage the team — rename Admin / Moderator / Viewer, and make up to 8 roles of your own (“Event crew”, say). Invite links and the role picker use your roles; the owner keeps RCON, ownership and billing.
- ImprovedTeam: people and invites side by side, the last 10 things the team did under them, and View history opens a console — every action with its timestamp, who did it and on whom, filterable, loading older rows as you scroll.
- NewHome the owner owns (Premium): Customize Home moves the number tiles and panels around, between columns, hides what you don’t use and adds things back — saved per server for the whole team. Reset to default any time.
- NewAutomation → Rules: rules in plain language. Build a sentence — “When a player has ping over 250 ms for 2 minutes → whisper them a warning, and if it happens again within 10 minutes → kick them” — from who (anyone, first visits, regulars), what (ping, K/D, headshot %, kills or a streak this match, time on the server), what happens (whisper, kick, ban, a Discord alert, a note, a well-done) and what happens the second time. Before you switch one on, WARPANEL checks it against the last 24 hours: “would have fired 4 times: Kettu, Big Dog…”. Up to 3 rules (15 on Premium). Your team is never touched.
- NewLive: “On a streak right now” — everyone’s current kill streak from the kill feed, longest first, with the longest of the match. Home shows it too while someone is on 3+.
- NewHome and Growth: “Rising players” (most kills gained this week vs last — the ones to recruit, with a Post to Discord link) and “Regulars at risk” (regulars who have gone quiet for 7+ days, with what to do about it).
- ImprovedNew layout: the sidebar is grouped into Server, Community, Automation and Insights. Everything Discord — leaderboards, alerts, the server info message, event posts, roles — lives on one Discord page. Settings has subpages (Kill feed, RCON, Unusual stats). Automation is split into Rules, Schedules, Rotation and Server config. The public server page opens in a new tab.
- ImprovedWARPANEL has its own look now — graphite panels, signal-orange highlights and new type — instead of WARDOGS Tracker's olive and gold. Same pages, same places; the sidebar marks the open section in orange.
- ImprovedPlayers → Leaderboard → Leaderboards in Discord: boards have a new look — one line per player in Discord's normal font (rank, bold name, the stat), which reads the same on PC and phones. Your existing boards switch over at their next update.
- NewLeaderboards in Discord: “Show extra info” per board — a second value next to the stat (K/D next to kills, kills next to K/D, and so on). Off by default; switch it on under Edit.
- ImprovedLeaderboards in Discord: the WARPANEL messages now carry the WARDOGS wolf as their picture.
- NewLeaderboards in Discord: Picture boards (Premium) — WARPANEL draws the board as a picture with a podium for the top 3 and bars for the rest, and posts that instead of text. Choose Look → Picture when adding or editing a board; a preview shows what Discord will get.
- NewKennel has a new name: WARPANEL. It's the biggest thing we've built, so it gets a name of its own that can grow into a lasting, long-lived service. Same features, same login and same links — nothing to change on your side.
- ImprovedHome: "Players, 7 days" now comes from RCON's player list when you have RCON — everyone on the server, not just players who got a kill or died.
- NewAnalytics: total time played on your server — last 7 days, last 30 days and all time, with the change from the period before (needs RCON).
- NewPlayers → a player: how old their Steam account is, when they were first seen on your server (RCON or the kill feed), and their records here — longest kill, most kills and headshots in a match, best kill streak — with a ★ when it's your server's record.
- NewYour public server page's leaderboard has a Win % column (from RCON match results).
- NewLive: "Cash in play" — everyone's cash added up, plus each team's total in its header.
- NewScheduled messages can stop at a player count: e.g. "Thanks for seeding!" every 10 minutes until 20 players are on. Set it when adding a message, or under Change on an existing one.
- NewAutomation → Rules → Welcome messages now has three messages, one per visit: first time on the server, back after a long break (you pick how many days) and everyone else coming back. Switch each on or off.
- ImprovedThe separate "Welcome back" automation is now the "Back after a long break" message in Welcome messages. If you had it on, it's moved over with your message and a 7-day break — nothing to do.
- NewSettings → Kill feed → Set up automatically: with RCON connected, WARPANEL creates the token and writes the [WDServerFeed] section into your ServerSettings.ini for you (at the bottom, replacing any old one). Just restart the server.
- NewYour server's WARPANEL has a fixed link (wardogstracker.gg/warpanel/<your id>) that never changes — not when the game server restarts. Bookmark it. Older links still work.
- ImprovedNew address: wardogstracker.gg/warpanel. Old /kennel links and bookmarks still work — they take you to the same page.
- ImprovedSettings → Kill feed shows your current token's first characters, when it was created and when the last kill arrived — so you can check it matches the Token= line in ServerSettings.ini. Tokens never change by themselves (not on restarts); only New token replaces them.
- NewKill feed problems are shown to you: if your server sends kills with an old or mistyped token, without a token, or data that can't be read, Settings → Kill feed and the home page's “needs attention” list say what's wrong and how to fix it.
- NewLive: every player has an Actions button at the end of their row — message, warn, move to another team, kick or ban from one place. It stays in view on a PC too, where the action buttons used to hide off the right edge of the team tables.
- NewLive on a phone: one team at a time — tap a team's card (score and players) to switch, search across all teams and sort by kills, ping or time on. Tap a player for a panel from the bottom with their card and big buttons: message, warn, move, kick, ban. The keyboard only opens when you tap the message box.
- ImprovedLive: opening a player's actions no longer shifts the table — the columns and the button stay where they are.
- ImprovedLive: “Players this match” counts everyone who was on the server during the match (from RCON), not only players who got a kill or died. The kill-feed count is shown underneath.
- ImprovedLive: the team score bars now fill towards the winning score (100 points), so you can see how close each team is to winning.
- ImprovedLive: the player card shows the full kills, deaths and headshot % under K/D here instead of cutting it off.
- ImprovedLive no longer shows the admin log — it's on the Team page, where it shows the latest 40 actions.
- ImprovedPlayers → Leaderboard shows 50 players per page, with page buttons under the table. The CSV download still has everyone.
- FixedThe “WARPANEL in numbers” totals update every day at 00:00 UTC again — they could get stuck on old numbers.
- FixedLive no longer flashes 0 players and an empty scoreboard for a moment when the game server briefly reports nothing between looks.
- NewSupporters (Grow → Supporters): players can back your server with a monthly subscription. Connect your own Stripe account and the money goes straight to your bank; make up to 5 tiers with the perks you choose — a reserved slot given and taken back over RCON, a Discord role, a gold name on your leaderboard, a supporter badge and a place on the supporter wall. WARDOGS Tracker takes 3% of each payment (1% on Premium) plus Stripe's own card fee.
- NewSupporters: see everyone who backs you, failed payments and perks that couldn't be given (with a Retry button), this month's money after fees, and set a monthly server-cost goal for your public page.
- FixedYour WARPANEL address now always uses your server's permanent id — links opened with the old server id or join code move there by themselves, so bookmarks and shared links keep working after restarts.
What's new, your own unusual-stats rules & more
- NewSettings → Unusual stats: choose when a player gets flagged — minimum kills, headshot %, how long a long kill is and what share of long kills, kills in one minute, and the leaderboard's kills per hour and K/D. Moderation, Players, the leaderboard ⚠ mark, the player card and the Discord alert all use your numbers. “Use the defaults” puts them back.
- NewSettings → Server info in Discord: one message in your channel that Kennel keeps up to date every minute — online or offline (with the time it went down), player count, join code, your own connection addresses, map and mode with a picture of the map, team scores and when the match started, plus a Server page button. Switch each part on or off and see a preview as you go.
- NewAutomation → Scheduled messages take turns: give each message its own start minute (e.g. Discord at :00 and :30, rules at :10 and :40, upvote reminder at :20 and :50). New messages pick a free minute by themselves, “Take turns — spread them out” spaces out messages with the same interval, and “The next hour” shows what goes out when. Two messages never go out at the same moment.
- ImprovedScheduled messages: up to 3 per server (paused ones count).
- ImprovedTeam: up to 10 people besides the owner.
- NewServer → Map rotation: your whole rotation as a list — map, mode, control zone and time of day & weather for each. Reorder, edit, copy, add or remove maps and save it to the server in one go, no settings file editing.
- ImprovedLive: end match, restart and override map now sit in the title bar (override map opens as a pop-up), players, map, match time and weather sit on a picture of the current map, and the team scores are bigger.
- NewLive: match time shows even when your server doesn't send a match clock — from the moment Kennel sees a new match start, or the game's own match start — and it ticks every second.
- FixedLive: the kill feed's "this match" numbers start again when a new match begins, also on servers that keep the same match id between matches.
- NewTime of day & weather with pictures: pick it from picture tiles when you override the map or edit the rotation, and see the current one in Live and in your Discord server info message.
- NewA clock in the top bar: today's date and the time where you are, with UTC next to it — schedules, the Monday report and server restarts run on UTC.
- ImprovedServer → Reserved slots shows 10 players per page with Previous / Next, and a search by name or Steam ID once the list is longer than 10.
- FixedServer list rank on Home and Growth now follows the server list's real order — verified servers first (boosted ones on top of them), then votes — and “votes to the next place” only shows when votes can actually move you up.
- NewAlready in Kennel (early access): live player list with team cards and private messages, match control, moderation with warnings, kicks, bans and player reports, the shared ban list, analytics (population, matches, kill feed, page visits), growth benchmarks, events, schedules and automatic rules, team balance, Discord alerts and leaderboards, your public server page and builder, the action log and team roles.
